basics | Volume 6

'basics' is a series of shows which host a mixture of stripped-back music & poetry in intimate venues around Brighton. The diverse and carefully curated line-ups have generated a growing reputation around the city and led to every show being sold-out in advance. They've also appeared three times in the Folklore Room's ‘staff's picks of 2024’ and received outstanding reviews from Rapture Magazine, Brighton Source & WeLoveBrighton. On the 10th of July, basics will return to Brighton's cosiest music venue, Folklore Rooms, for another display of incredible talent across an array of diverse genres & art-forms.
